The Pearce G2R features lots tone selections and it’s still one of the most popular solid-state amps today. This was the second generation of the Pearce G1guitar amp, and comes with integrated stereo power amp and digital effects (G2R). Everything are original and just been serviced and work perfectly.

• Front-panel push buttons for input pad and channel boost 

• Mid-range EQ frequency from 200Hz to 6kHz 

• Four DIP-switches on front panel for various preamp gain/EQ options 

• Limiter assigned to Channel 2 only

• G2r includes Alesis digital reverb for Channel 1 and 2, completely independent 

• Stereo output, 100W per side into 4 ohms, 200W bridged mono into 8 ohms. 

The Pearce G2R is still consider one of the favorite amps of all time “tube like”.

It is a very unique amplifier. Both channels solid-state amp that could get a good edge of breakup/slight grit tone. Designed and built by Daniel Pearce. The same guy who was in the design team of first generation of Lab Series amps (the Pearce amps hold a great similarity to them in many regards) and also designed those great ART guitar amps of the late 1990's.

Dan Pearce also contributed to the design of the Gibson lab series amplifiers. If you look at this amp you will notice some similarities including the multi filter and onboard compressor/limiter. It's a great sounding amp and has a wide range of sounds. A great feature - it can be run as either a stereo or mono amp with the flick of a button.
