BUILD & DESIGN
The MV 692 is the solid-state successor to Gefell’s classic tube microphones, based on the same interchangeable capsule system.

It features a modular 12V phantom-powered amplifier body, designed for use with the original N 691 PSU. The body features a sturdy matte-metal finish, robust Tuchel connector, and a satisfying mechanical feel throughout. These systems were built to last — and they do.

The included M70 capsule is a cardioid, center-terminated design with a real nickel diaphragm — crafted with precision at the historic Gefell facility under the direction of Georg Neumann’s colleague, Erich Kühnast and capsule master Thiersch.
