1990 Elan ii in Amber with original Japanese leather carry bag . This actual guitar is the first one registered and listed on the Heartfield website, under Elan , see photos for information and write up. Serial # K90027 in Amber # 720. This guitar is in near perfect condition, with the exception of a very small hit on the bottom binding needs to be addressed by a qualified luthier to make it perfect again, ( a tinted lacquer would bring it back to excellent) these are phenomenal guitars, when I first seen it I thought it was an older 90’s beautiful custom 22 PRS Its beautifully deep carved flamed top is gorgeous, the vintage 90’s Seymore Duncan humbuckers are incredible sounding, JNJ neck ( very early USA unstamped) JBJ Bridge ( also USA vintage 90’s) very rare fantastic guitar. Ebony fingerboard, dot inlays, beautiful pearl tuning keys , the body and neck are of Honduran mahogany , the tone pot has an indent at position 5 making it a TBX tone control. Also features Locking tuners . Stays in tune and is a pleasure to play , these listed at $1699 US dollars in 1990 !!
Exceptional craftsmanship into building these guitars. Very comparable to a 90’s PRS custom 22 maple flame top! Looks, tone and playability, its all there!
