The SG Tribute Plus features a classic Gibson SG-shaped body made from mahogany. It has the iconic beveled mahogany SG body with a flame maple veneer top that looks fantastic. The bolt-on mahogany neck has a fast and easy playing 60s SlimTaper™ Rounded C profile that makes practice sessions and jamming a joy, and a tapered heel joint for improved upper fret access. The headstock features the popular 60s Kalamazoo headstock shape, which is outfitted with quality die-cast tuning machines, and the bound laurel fretboard is outfitted with 22 medium jumbo frets and adorned with pearloid trapezoid inlays. The SG Tribute Plus is equipped with an Epiphone LockTone™ Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece that are designed for easy adjustment of string height and intonation, and they contribute to this model’s excellent sustain. The Epiphone SG Tribute Plus is equipped with a pair of  Epiphone humbucker™ pickups, with an Epiphone 650R in the neck position and an  Epiphone 700T in the bridge position. Both pickups are furnished with powerful ceramic magnets for strong, full-bodied tone. The Epiphone SG Tribute Plus elevates the Tribute series with even more performance and better looks while remaining accessible to players everywhere.
