For sale is my Ampex 16 track 2 inch recorder. - heads in very good condition

These machines are known to be sonic beasts. They are also known to have faulty capstan servo and logic issues. However this machine is free of these problems. Back in the day all upgrade bulletin mods were done professionally.

As I am downsizing, I now find I have to accelerate this sale to meet a earlier move date. Originally I had offered help in moving it in the GTA but no longer have the time and resources to dedicate to that so it is pick up only. I also originally had the price at 5000 but have slashed to 3000 as "priced to go", price firm. I have also located the remote (still looking for cable) and extras like test tape... I do not have pictures for these and will add those pictures in the days to come. Willing to work with you to sort out shipping if possible through an independent mover.
