I am selling my Fender Rosewood Telecaster model RW TL69 98 made in Japan in 1985, including case. The guitar is in very, very good condition, both visually and technically. It is the classic George Harrison model in the sought-after and still affordable Japanese version from the 1980s, which is very similar to the original in terms of construction with solid woods.
This rosewood telecaster weighs exactly 4.07 kg, just over 4 kilos – which is rather rare for this wood.
The serial number A050863 refers to the manufacturer Fuji-gen Plant, which worked for Fender Japan, and the year of manufacture 1985. Guitardaterproject: ‘Your guitar was made at the Fuji-gen Plant (for Fender Japan), Japan in 1985 - 1986. Production Number: 50863’
