This is a vintage c. 1959 Danelectro Convertible. First introduced in 1959, these guitars were made an marketed as a hybrid acoustic / electric guitar and sometimes were sold as pure acoustics with no electronics.. It's hollow body construction ensures its acoustic ability - perhaps not the same volume of a Martin Dreadnought, per se, but certainly loud enough to be played enjoyably unplugged.
The best part is that it plays like an electric: comfortable and un-burdensome. If so chosen, a pickup and electronics can be installed, but it's pretty cool like this in its original form. Oh, and it's got a sweet sticker. This one is in good shape with some nicks and dings. Great playing neck!
It has been professionally set up and is ready to rock!
