Alvarez MD60EBG | Solid Mahogany sides and back and Sitka Spruce top | Serial No. E21102848

Purchased brand new very recently from a local guitar shop here in Ontario , mint condition ; It's really a great open balanced nice clear and loud sounding dreadnought size guitar ; action is perfect ; installed new set of strings Martin MA540 Phosphor Bronze 12-54 ; has Fishman pick-up with EQ control knobs in sound hole , and electronic function works very well ; comes with the Alvarez flex case.

'Masterworks' per Alvarez has an AA+ Sitka Spruce top , and this one has beautiful cross grain silking [the pics do not really bring out the true beauty of it] with a golden hued aging toner ; the Mahogany is deep rich and vivid in color with really nice veriegation in the wood grain. The open back vintage chrome tuners are done just right by Alvarez on this model!

I've owned and recorded basically All the Alvarez Masterworks and Eastman E1,E6,E10 solid Mahogany tonewood models , and I give them both two thumbs up for their beautiful tone and builds ; however , I have to give Alvarez the edge , generally it has a bit more sparkle on the top end and bit better balance straight across their model lines ; it's difficult to note the differences unless one is listening to their own recordings. Alvarez has been building guitars for a long time now and they definitely know their business ; high quality in every instrument! ; [and a really good quality gigbag to boot].

Dreadnought is not really the body size of my preference as I play fingerstyle only , but I wanted to try out the model , and more recently purchased the OM size as they were not readily available on the market ; these builds go fast and I can see why , super value for the money ; if you're a strummer in need of a powerful guitar this is for you! This guitar is perfect.

SHIPPING Rates [Instructions]:

Check my shop page or Shipping Instructions for more detail.

If you are within Canada I can work out an exact shipping rate with liability coverage via Canada Postal service (is the only carrier i personally will deal with as i have a business account) ; [I will only do an estimate if the interest is serious about the purchase and will pay the shipping via an e-transfer exact amount , so you won't get dinged another set of sales taxes on Reverb , and I won't get dinged the reverb fee atop all that!]

Would prefer to sell locally [buyer avoids the sales tax and shipping] ; local pick-up requires an e-transfer deposit $300 CAD prior to meeting at a major mall in GTA [no exception] .

B.O. option is not available.

Final sale , no "tries" for local pick-up [payment must be made in full before the guitar is handed over ; on-line sale platform , i use Reverb only ; i am a private seller not a store shop.

message me here on Reverb , thanks , erik
