Rare Gibson U Harp, fully playable. Beautiful piece of history and great conversation piece. missing the original bridge and tailpiece. The 6 string neck has excellent string height and playability, original tuners work well, good fret height, and has a better tone than you would think for such a heavily built instrument. The missing tailpiece has been reworked with a jazz guitar tailpiece for the 6 string side, and an adapted upright bass tailpiece for the harp side, both tailpieces are attached with wire around a strap pin similar to a violin, cello, or bass.

The metal tailpiece anchoring the two wooden tailpieces is the same footprint as the original and uses the same screw holes so an original tailpiece could go on.

Told myself I would never sell this but unfortunately my wife says she has to go. My loss is your gain.
