Differences to XW-1:

#1 - XW-1 has controls (on the side) to “fine tune” the players wah tone. The XW-2 does not have these controls however it has a “custom set tone” which some players prefer the more simple “plug and play” design.

#2 - The XW-1 has 4 internal DIP switches & 1 pot to “fine tune” controls Range, Gain, Presence, Wah Q and volume. The XW-2 has one control, Wah Q Control which helps dial in the “vowel” like sound.

#3 - The XW-1 and XW-2 both have custom designed pots - the XW-1 has a vintage classic (Clyde McCoy) sounding pot. The XW-2 also has a similar classic (Clyde McCoy) sounding pot but with a slightly different design to produce a more “throaty modern” sounding pot.
