This 1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard electric guitar was one of my main gigging guitars, so if you are looking for a museum-quality piece, then this guitar is not for you. This instrument has all the nicks and dents of a well-loved, well-used guitar that never let me down. When I purchased this guitar second-hand in 2008, I was aware that it came with a professionally repaired headstock (pictures included). I just happen to know several luthiers, and I figured if there were any issues, I could have the broken headstock reset and re-repaired. But there was never any need to take it for repairs as the neck and headstock have been rock solid for nearly two decades. In fact, the only change made to this guitar was to replace the pickup position cover - adding the "Ginger/Maryann" indicators (if you know ... you know). The Pick-ups themselves are well-balanced and the frets still have plenty of life.

**Full disclosure** I have tried to get pictures of all the nicks and flaws ... none of which have any influence on the sound or playability of the guitar (or the looks, for that matter). Included is the OHSC with a broken lock (that's another road story) but forewarned is forearmed. The bottom line is that this guitar is a fantastic player, and the asking price takes into account all the items I have pointed out.
