The Artist series by Alvarez has undoubtedly been their most popular line in the company's history. Understandable, considering the quality craftsmanship, wide selection of shapes and configurations, and a reputation for being affordable and roadworthy.

The top on this AC65 is solid Western red cedar, and back and sides are laminated mahogany. Nut and saddle are both bone. The neck is mahogany and the fingerboard and bridge are laurel. The action is comfortable all the way up the neck, and the fingerboard is adjustable thanks to the accessible truss rod, something that is not common in many  classical guitars. 

Alvarez adds a subtle amount of cosmetic accents to make this guitar "look" more expensive, from the intricate rosette, subtle laurel binding, to chrome machine heads capped with faux-ebony buttons.

IMPORTANT!! This acoustic instrument contains solid tone woods. Therefore, we strongly recommend a proper humidifier to help prevent the instrument from drying out. Many manufacturers will not warranty damage caused as a result of low humidity.
