Drum Foundry Stainless Steel 13x6 snare

One of a kind, custom built by Drum Foundry...

Unique 13''x6'' rolled and welded stainless steel snare,

chromed shell appears to be around 1.5mm thick,

weld seam is centered at butt plate, visible from inside shell,

hard to see from outside the shell,

brass plated lugs, lug screws, washers and hoops,

minor scratches on shell, minor pitting on hoops,

though batter hoop shows 2 small rust spots,

butt plate is complete, throw-off works well,

though missing small steel plate and screws where snare straps are usually attached,

so copper snares made for 13'' shells,

are held solid by black nylon steel string made especially to attach snares...

Snare side head is almost new, batter side head is used with coating wear,

snare tunes well and sounds as expected from a 13'' snare,

stainless steel focuses rimshots really well,

Great for main or side snare...
