Symmetrical Y-splitter compatible with Roland TD-9, TD-11, TD-12, TD-15, TD-17, TD-20, TD-27, TD-30 and TD-50 drum sound modules.

Splitter type: Stereo TRS 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) male to 2 x mono TS 1/4 inch (6.35 mm) female "jack" connectors;
NOTE: Not compatible with TD-3, TD-4, TD-5, TD-7, TD-10 and TD-25;

This new shielded symmetrical "Y-splitter" 1/4" TRS (stereo) male to two 1/4" TS (mono) female connectors, specifically made for Roland electronic drum modules to expand the number of drum pads beyond the number of pads that are directly supported by the drum module. The purpose of this cable is to split the original stereo input of dual-zone drum pad with "head/rim" zones (any Tom or Snare on supported drum modules - see below) on the drum module into two separate cables that allow you to connect one original drum pad (which will become 1-zone pad with "head" zone) along with one additional 1-zone drum pad like Tom 4 or Tom 5.

Ideally, both pads connected to this Y-splitter should be of the same type, e.g. both PDX-8 or both PD-85 or one PDX-6 and one PDX-8. Also, two CY pads can be used with this Y-splitter and they both will act as two independent single-zone cymbal pads.

This Y-splitter works with the following Roland drum sound modules that can handle dual-zone pads and are capable of setting different sounds separately to "head" and "rim" zones:

• TD-9 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Aux);
• TD-11 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3);
• TD-12 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Aux 1, Aux 2);
• TD-15 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Aux);
• TD-17 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Aux);
• TD-20 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Tom 4 and Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3, Aux 4);
• TD-27 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Tom 4 and Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3, Aux 4);
• TD-30 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Tom 4 and Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3, Aux 4);
• TD-50 (for Snare, Tom 1, Tom 2, Tom 3, Tom 4 and Aux 1, Aux 2, Aux 3, Aux 4);

IMPORTANT: Other than these listed Roland drum modules are NOT compatible with this Y-splitter.

When used with Crash inputs, the "choking" feature may become disabled.

The color-coding of the two 1/4 inch jacks is as follows:

• The female jack with RED color is for HEAD;
• The female jack with WHITE color is for RIM;

Please note that this custom-made splitter contains electronic component(s) embedded/hidden inside the male TRS connector, this is not a plain "wire-splitter".
