Yamaha 8000 tour series 1984 made in Japan drum kit.
Top of the line Birch/Phillippine Mahogany ply shells. Very similar to the Recording Custom 9000 series.
This kit has a lot of punch and warmth. See the youtube video link where you can hear it live.
Few marks on the wrap but nothing major.
I always used hard cases since I got it. The bearing edges are impeccable!
I fixed a loose nut on the bass drum spur with a touch of Epoxy, it stays in place (see photo).
