The Super Badass Variac Fuzz is aggressive, biting and very versatile, with a Variac control to change the pedal voltage from 5V to 15V for a range of fuzz tones. Go from vintage flaccid saturation to wide open transparency with the twist of a knob.

The Super Badass Variac Fuzz is a dream come true for guitarists looking for a vintage fuzz sound. This tasty fuzz is aggressive and biting, and with the twist of a knob, you can drag it into that dying drum territory prized by tonechasers - no need to manage a collection of half-dead drums.

To create the Super Badass Variac Fuzz, the MXR design team dusted off a rare vintage silicon circuit, tuned it up, and added a Variac control so you can set the pedal's voltage from 5 to 15 volts. For that wonderful flaccid fuzz effect you get as a 9V battery loses power, simply lower the voltage by turning the Variac knob counterclockwise. Increasing the voltage increases the headroom of the effect, opening up the fuzz for a more transparent sound at 15V.

The Super Badass Variac Fuzz's simple interface is complemented by tone, output and gain controls, and it all comes in a road-ready enclosure with true bypass switching.

[5] There is NO return for international transactions and overseas shipping. Our return policy does not apply to International transactions, only to the Canadian market. It is the Buyer’s responsibility to verify if the manufacturer will accept the warranty for an international transaction, otherwise they will be considered as used.

[6] If an item arrives Damaged, please send us pictures of the external box and damage within the first 24 hours. Failure to do so will automatically void the insurance with the carrier. Keep the box until further notice and wait for our instructions for the next step. Having an instrument setup by yourself or a non-certified technician could void the warranty and insurance on shipping.
