Looks almost identical to the '60s original. Chrome plated brass; this knob is HEAVY in the hand. Top of the knob has the classic Gretsch "G" arrow design deeply stamped. SUPER COOL! Knurling on the upper portion of the edge of the knob. Set screw fixing to a standard 1/4" solid shaft pot. Yes, this knob will fit your '50s-'60s Gretsch EXACTLY. Also fits many NEW Gretsch guitars distributed by Fender Musical Instruments.
