Designed by Jeffrey Steiger of  Classic Audio Products, Inc. this VP28 is a full fledged 2-stage mic preamp for the 500 series format.

Come normally with two gar2520 opamps (discrete operational amplifier), but also one gar2520 and one gar1731. I also have the new CAPI 0252 ($30 extra) in stock and ready to go as well.

The EA2623-1 is a custom made audio output transformer. The EA2623 has been designed by Ed Anderson to replicate the transformers found in the vintage API recording consoles from the 1970's. This transformer was used in the "preamp out" and the "direct out" positions of the vintage consoles. It was also used in the ACA summing amplifiers (PCB mount version, EA2623-4), Echo send modules, Master Cue modules, some of the 500 series modules and of course the talkback mic pre amp!

These are 100% VPR alliance compliant 500 series preamps.
