From Equipboard:

Introducing the Roland Aira Compact S-1 Tweak Synth, an unprecedented portable polysynth that encapsulates an entire synth studio within your grasp. Inspired by the legendary SH-101, this advanced model elevates the original design by incorporating four-voice polyphony and a range of innovative features, making it a powerhouse of sound design and performance.

The revolutionary S-1 is powered by Roland’s acclaimed Analog Circuit Behavior (ACB) technology which authentically replicates the warm tones of vintage analog synths, providing a sonic playground of customizable waveforms, and rich overtones. The 64-step sequencer opens up a universe of rhythmic and melodic possibilities, offering you an extraordinary level of control over your music.

From live performances to studio sessions, the S-1 functions as a standalone synth, a sequencer for driving external gear, and a MIDI controller for software synths. The synthesizer is packed with hands-on controls, making it a breeze to create lavish tones and adjust effects. Its multi-function pads offer a keyboard with a two-plus octave range, a step sequencer interface, and a wealth of creative options to spark fresh ideas.
