Vintage GML Model 8200 Stereo Parametric Equalizer – Early Version – S/N 1090

Early George Massenburg Labs Model 8200 stereo parametric equalizer, serial number 1090, complete with its GML external ±28V outboard power supply and connecting cable.

The GML 8200 is a classic professional studio equalizer offering two channels of five-band fully parametric EQ. Each band provides continuously variable frequency, boost/cut and Q, with shelving capability on the outer bands.

This is an early-production 8200, featuring the classic black GML faceplate, colour-coded controls and external ±28V supply. It predates the later/current versions of the 8200 and is a great example of early GML professional studio equipment.

The 8200 has earned its reputation for extremely precise control, high headroom and a clean, transparent character, making it equally useful for tracking, mixing and mastering.

Included: GML Model 8200 stereo EQ, GML ±28V outboard power supply, and power interconnect cable.

This unit has seen genuine professional studio use and shows the corresponding cosmetic wear. It is being sold as a vintage piece rather than a cosmetically restored example.

Serial number: 1090.
