The drum is in very nice used condition overall. The finish still looks great and the chrome is clean and bright. It has all of its original hardware, including the Absolute lugs, die-cast hoops and YESS mounting system. Interior and bearing edges are flawless.

This finish here has begun to exhibit lacquer checking in its surface that you'll notice on many vintage Yamaha kits from this era (and something that is extremely common on guitars). They are almost invisible from some angles and more noticeable from others depending on the light. They are strictly cosmetic and do not affect the shell, sound or function of the drum in any way. I’ve tried to show the condition as clearly as possible in the photos.

Otherwise, just the usual light signs of use and handling you would expect from a drum of this age.
