Kohola Deluxe Solid Top Acoustic Electric Ukulele Bass

Real low end. Fits in a gig bag. Plug in and feel the room move.

The Kohola Deluxe Ukulele Bass puts genuine bass into a body you can sling over your shoulder. Tuned EADG like a standard bass guitar, with Aquila bass strings that deliver real tone and real feel. This isn't a novelty. Plug it into an amp through the Fishman Kula pickup system and the room fills from the floor up.

A solid acacia top gives it warmth and resonance that carries even unplugged. The 45mm nut width gives your fingers the space bass playing demands. A truss rod keeps the neck stable under the heavier string tension. Same Kohola-series appointments throughout — abalone-style rosette and purfling, maple binding, gold hardware. Every piece of acacia with its own grain, its own look.

For bass players who want something genuinely portable, or ukulele players who've been curious about the low end, this covers both. It's the most fun you can have with four strings at this end of the frequency range.
