This sale is for one (1) Le Studio Custom Pre-Amplifier! Our all-discrete 'Le Studio' microphone and line pre-amplifier is now finally made available to the public once more. This design was based on a classic design used at Le Studio Morin Heights during the mid-seventies. Merril Bradshaw designed this new 500 version, based on drawings and modifications by William Le Gallee Mann. How does it sound? Beta testing clients have compared the lush open, high-end to that of the RCA Camden custom API pre-amplifiers made in 1968 and the lower midrange and bass to that of the Neve 80 Series 1272s and 1073s. The unique tone control is what we call a 'tilt EQ that emphasizes frequencies that are already present in the incoming signal. This unit fits into your existing 500 series lunchbox or console.
