Vintage 1970s Yamaha EM-90A powered mixer, manufactured in Japan by Nippon Gakki Co.

A unique analog unit, made famous by the Miles Davis group, featuring a 6-channel mixer, an internal mechanical spring reverb tank, and a built-in rhythm drum.

100% Working condition! All inputs pass audio cleanly, all Line/Guitar/Mic toggles, L/R pan buttons, and individual volume controls functioning.

• Spring Reverb: Internal physical spring tank functions properly with active individual channel sends and master controls.
• Auto Rhythm Section: All 8 preset drum beats engage as intended. Volume and tempo controls scale smoothly.
• Tuner: Built-in A-440 oscillator tone generator working.

Physical & Cosmetic Condition:

The unit is mechanically excellent but it shows physical signs of age:

• Faceplate / Chassis: Heavy scuffs and finish scratches are visible on the top grey metal panel (see photos). Faint surface wear along the bottom chassis lip.
• Tuning Knob: A silver plastic knob is missing. The underlying metal pot stem is intact and works fine.
• Rubber Foot: One rubber isolation foot is missing from the bottom panel corner.

Back Panel Outputs

• TO AMP. SPEAKER / LINE OUT: Line-level outputs bypassing the internal amplifier. Safe for direct connection to modern powered studio monitors, active PA speakers, or recording audio interfaces.
• SPEAKER R / L: High-voltage amplified speaker outputs driven by the internal power amp. Use strictly with passive (unpowered) speaker cabinets.
