In addition to the Avid Omni interface (multi-channel inputs and outputs, ADAT digital inputs and outputs, SPDIF digital input-output, AES-EBU digital input, two high-headroom mic preamps, headphone amp), I’m including the Avid HD Native interface which will allow you to use the Omni with any computer with a Thunderbolt port (Apple Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 USB-C adaptor and 6ft Thunderbolt 2 cable). No HDX card needed! The D’Addario cables will give you multichannel output capabilities. (I was using this interface with to control my 5.1 powered speaker system.)
If you are ready to upgrade from working on headphones plugged into your computer or from stereo to multichannel, this is a great first interface!
