Really great example of a late Radio Improved alto! This is an excellent player, has a characteristic sweet, round and projecting sound that is similar to the SBA altos I’ve played but with a slightly bigger and drier sound. This one I believe is a very well done ?factory relacquer - the colour is beautifully dark/honey and all the stamping is very clear! The colour comes through a bit better in the soundclip than the photos. The pads are in good shape with metal resonators. Comes with original endplug and case!
