Selling a newly serviced vintage Moog Prodigy (Model 336A - Serial # 6489). This is the Domestic model that runs at 120V compared to export units wired for 220V (which would require modification/adapting).

This serial number suggests MK2 ('81-'84) rather than MK1 ('79-'81) but does not have additional I/O other than audio out. For those wanting extra I/O for modular integration and whatnot, the PCB is already designed for the extras if you wanted to run wires to a breakout box or drill some holes in the back. There's tons of info online. I decided to keep it stock but really is as easy as running a few wires to the right spots on the board.

I re-capped all electrolytics (Digikey) incl. RTV Silicon Adhesive Sealant on larger PSU caps, replaced all slide switch caps that were missing (Syntaur), Replaced a bad transistor array (Syntaur), Replaced a bad pitch wheel pot (Syntaur), resolved a mis-firing key issue and re-soldered anything that needed it for stability/functionality. I then completed a full tuning/calibration as per the service manual. Due to the age of the synth, I'm selling as-is, but happy to provide additional photos/video for anyone interested.

This thing sounds glorious! Lots of time, effort and $ to bring it back to life with proper replacement parts as I didn't want to cheap out. This is priced fairly considering servicing/restoration and comparing it to non-domestic options online when factoring in shipping/Import fees/Taxes.

This is a real deal meticulously calibrated vintage Moog ready to make some amazing music. Reach out for any additional info/questions.

Thanks!
