Pearl Spin-Tight Tension Rods feature a small hex screw on the top that can be tightened down to lock the rod in place, eliminating the problem of tension rods loosening up when you play loud! A Spin-Tight Drum Key is highly recommended (and really convenient) when utilizing these rods, but in a pinch a 2mm hex key would do the job. These specialized tension rods work across the vast majority of drums - anywhere you would use a normal tension rod! A small rubber washer prevents metal-on-metal contact with the hoop. This item includes four Spin-Tight Tension Rods, as well as the Spin-Tight Drum Key specifically made for them.
