The SPL Vitalizer Mk2 model 9526 is one of the later, improved Vitalizer models with a more comprehensive set of controls than previous versions. The renowned Vitalizer effect is achieved through "dynamic equalizers, amplitude-controlled phase correction, and harmonic filtering" and an excellent Stereo Expander. This model's added "Drive" knob makes optimal gain-staging easier, and the bass compression is splendid for fattening-up the low end. Balanced inputs and outputs on TRS jack sockets and XLR connectors. No paper manual, but a pdf of the manual can be downloaded from the SPL website. Tested and fully working. Some cosmetic scratches and scrapes on the top and bottom, and a little "rack rash" at the mounting holes.
