About this listing
Cushmic Sounds is pleased to offer on consignment this rather cool, vintage 1971 Fender Telecaster featuring its original 'reinstalled' Fender "F" logo Bigsby Tremolo, finished in original 3-tone sunburst Nitro.NOTE: At some point, this Tele was converted to a "string- thru" setup consisting of a traditional ashtray bridge and added rear ferrules. The neck cavity was also previously routed to accomodate a full size humbucker. These modifications have since been professionally reversed and repaired, bringing this beauty back to its original factory form.Serial #320620Weighing in at 3.71kg (8.17lbs) with a 2-piece solid Ash body, 1-piece Hard Rock Maple neck with comfortable "C" shape profile, round-laminated "Round lam" Indian Rosewood fingerboard with 7.25" radius, and Pearloid inlays.Nut width: 40.93mm (1.611")Fingerboard width at 12th fret: 50.64mm (1.993")Neck depth at 1st fret: 22.35mm (0.880")Neck depth at 12th fret: 24.88mm (0.979")Rear neck finish: Original PolyurethaneHeadstock front finish: Original Nitrocellulose Original Parts:• One factory-original single coil bridge pickupBridge pickup output: 8.69k• Original CTS 1 Meg pots.CTS pot code breakdown:137 = CTS Manufacturer Code66 = Year manufactured34 = Week of year• Original Centralab .05 MFD (Circle-D) ceramic "dime" disc capacitor• Original Centralab switch (CRL 1452)• Original 3-ply pickguard• Original flat-top "Diamond" Knurl control knobs• Possible Original switch tip• Original milled-edge output jack cup with retainer clip• Original Fender Type 1 "F" logo tuners• Original single "Butterfly" string treeReplacement Parts:• Modern replacement neck pickup with added flat bar magnet (unsure of brand)Neck pickup output: 5.84k• Pro re-fret• Replacement Bone nut.
