Up for sale is a late 19th-century antique 4/4 full-size violin built on a broad Domenico Montagnana model.

Unlike many instruments of this age that require costly luthier work or sit as dormant projects, this violin is fully set up, structurally sound, and actively played. It features a warm, mature, and resonant tone characteristic of well-aged European trade instruments.

### Historical Provenance & Labels

This instrument features two distinct internal labels detailing its rich history:

1. Primary Facsimile Label: "Dominicus Montagnana Sub Signo Cremonæ Venetiis 1727" — Indicating the 19th-century German trade workshop design template.

2. Secondary Workshop/Repair Label: "ADOLF PAULUS / LUDW. BAUSCH & SOHN / LEIPZIG / Instrumente, Bogen, Saiten etc. / REPARATUREN" — Confirming the instrument was handled, serviced, or reconditioned by the famous Ludwig Bausch & Sohn atelier in Leipzig, Germany, under master luthier Adolf Paulus (circa 1875–1908).

* Setup: Fully playable with good bridge fitting, functioning pegs, and soundpost in place.

* Bridge: Fitted replacement stamped "BAUSCH".

* Wood & Finish: Deep amber-brown finish showing authentic historical wear, rosin patina, and character consistent with a 120+ year-old instrument.

* Fingerboard: Position tape residue is visible in photos (purely cosmetic; can easily be cleaned/polished off).
