Today we are proud to offer this historic beauty! This 1938 Selmer balanced action alto is in rare form because it is one of the few original examples that you will find out there! There is nothing sweeter than the sound of these early selmers! So lyrical and this one plays with a dark and complex singing voice. It has full engraving by throughout the horn and comes complete with a premium overhaul. This horn shows honest wear to the silver plate but is overall in great playing shape. It doesn’t have any dents just normal wear for a horn that’s nearly 100 years old. It comes with the original neck that is also free from past damage. If you’ve been looking to add to your collection or you’re just a fan of these gorgeous players- this is definetly one that is worth giving consideration to.
