HONG plays keyboards, manages preset storage, and lets you change the entire system's operating mode with one move, bridging the gap between micro and macro control in CV. Outputs 1–4 send sequencer CV, and the four knobs set the current step's CV value. Press the central FUNC key and use the surrounding buttons and knobs to start and pause playback, return to the first step, clear or randomly generate sequences, switch between stage and edit modes, switch the internal and external clock, and save.

Stage mode works like a Korg-style recording sequencer—turning the knobs records the current CV of each track, in real time during a performance. Edit mode is similar to Elektron's parameter-locked sequencer, for precise editing and situations that require silent operation.
