Deep in the swamps of South Georgia, forgotten logs are recovered, milled, stacked, air-dried, inspected, and stabilized before they ever become an instrument. Every piece of wood is given the time it deserves, preserving its character while allowing its voice to emerge naturally.

Only three Log Recovery Signature Series commissions are accepted each year, ensuring every instrument receives the time, attention, and craftsmanship it deserves.

Inspired by our AJ Newton Modern Drummer Kit of the Month, every shell is handcrafted using Outlaw Drums' signature segmented stave construction and built to your exact specifications.

Every shell begins as a reclaimed log. We allow the wood to dry naturally before construction because exceptional tone cannot be rushed. Every step is completed by hand, creating an instrument built to last for generations.
