David Garibaldi has retired from Tower of Power! David's innovative grooves propelled the band and helped define their unique funky sound. After an amazing 55-year run, he's putting away his Tower of Power sticks.

His groundbreaking work with Tower of Power, along with his influential instructional books and videos, has established him as one of the most respected and innovative drummers of our time.

This Yamaha DTX Professional Electronic Drum System was owned and used by David Garibaldi circa the late 1990s. Built around Yamaha's original DTX Drum Trigger Module, this first-generation electronic drum system represents Yamaha's early entry into professional electronic percussion and reflects Garibaldi's exploration of electronic drums for practice, programming, and performance applications.

David used this set predominantly as a practice set. The pads show some signs of wear but remain in excellent condition. We went through the whole kit. Everything is working just like it's supposed to. No issues.

Introduced in 1997, the DTX system quickly became one of Yamaha's flagship electronic percussion products and established the foundation for every Yamaha electronic drum system that followed.
