This acrylic mouthpiece rim was demoed briefly in shop and can no longer be sold as new. Save today!
MV3CS: MV3C rim with my CS cup -- it's slightly smaller and also has a much more efficient entrance into the throat. This helps the articulation and adds a lively "zip" to the sound. This mouthpiece is especially good on vintage trumpets or overly dark horns to make them "speak." This is our 2 series line in the new standard series.
About our acrylic line,
I started making and playing on acrylic mouthpiece tops due to my allergies to silver and gold, but they've become incredibly popular with our customers as well! They're super comfy! They feel a little softer than metal tops, and they won't feel as cold on your chops. The acrylic is fairly dense (denser than Delrin) so the sound is pretty close to a similar metal top. We also have a wide variety of colors, so you can get a look that's fairly subtle or one that draws plenty of attention.
This rim is on Warburton threads and is compatible with the majority of the modern market. Not just ACB!
