Compact monitor controller and D/A converter from Dangerous Music. If you're not familiar, Dangerous cut their teeth building mastering gear for places like Sterling Sound and Masterdisk, and the SOURCE brings that mastering grade monitoring into a small, portable box. Its a no compromise Chris Muth design and it just sounds transparent and accurate, which is exactly what you want from a monitor controller.

The idea here is you route everything through one high quality box and stop guessing. You get four input options, two analog (a balanced XLR/TRS combo jack and an 1/8 inch mini stereo for plugging in a phone or player) and two digital (AES/SPDIF and USB up to 192kHz/24 bit, class compliant so no drivers on Mac or Windows). Theres two reference grade DACs onboard. You can pick sources independently for your headphones vs your speakers, or even combine them, which is great for tracking sessions and collaborating with artists. Two speaker outs that can run at the same time, plus a strong, clean headphone amp. Its portable enough to throw in a bag and theres an optional rackmount kit for permanent installs.
