In kits configured with Standard shells, "Built-in Bottom" shells are employed for sizes 14 inches and larger; this ensures a natural low-end response tailored to the specific drum size while maintaining the signature character of the Standard shell.

The floor tom legs feature a 90-degree bend at the tip, a design meticulously engineered to avoid interfering with the shell's resonance.
