For sale is a Yamaha YOB-241 Model Oboe in nice condition.  This is the current model Yamaha student oboe.  Yamaha instruments are known for their precision and consistency, and this model is no different. It is one of the best basic oboe models available and is great to learn the Oboe on for its high quality and simplicity. The keys are silver plated and look great.  There are some scratches on the instrument body, dings on the bell and wear on the keywork, but the silver plating on the keys really shine. The logo is worn but visible.  The case shows a bit of wear, more so than the instrument, but is still in great shape.  The decorative silver bell ring is missing, but this does not affect the playability of the instrument at all.  Everything is perfectly functional on this instrument and in addition to the Oboe, you will receive a new Oboe reed, swab, and cork grease: everything you need to get started and take good care of your new instrument for years to come.
