G-String is a Made-in-Hawaii brand established in 1993. This is a used Footprint model featuring a laser-engraved footprint design. It has a Hawaiian koa body, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and bridge, friction tuners, and abalone fingerboard dot inlays. While currently handcrafted in the USA and prices have skyrocketed, at the time, it was manufactured by a team in an Oahu workshop, offering a wide range of affordable options. It quickly gained popularity and was even considered one of the three major Hawaiian guitar brands.
