Keyboard Roland S-50 Sampling Keyboard with Gotek Emulator

They Keyboard is in excellent conditions (it has been stored for years). I have converted the floppy drive to the Gotek Floppy drive emulator that uses a simple USB storage. You just dial any desired sample group to load (instead of using diskettes).

It comes with sound library samples on 3 different USB sticks (including the OS 2.0). These are almost 1000 sound (lists are included as prints).

The sounds are incredibly realistic because they are recorded sound samples and not synthesized.

Synthesizer

• Sound Generation: Uses raw waveforms (saw, square, triangle) shaped by mathematical operations.
• Best For: Creating entirely unique, never-heard-before sonic textures, aggressive leads, and evolving pads.
• Interaction: Typically driven by analog/digital circuitry, allowing heavy manipulation via filters, envelopes, and modulation matrices.

Sampler (e.g., Roland S50)

• Sound Generation: Uses digitized audio recordings as its "oscillator".
• Best For: Recreating hyper-realistic acoustic instruments via multi-sampling, or chopping up loops, vocals, and drums
• Interaction: Focuses on pitch-shifting, time-stretching, slicing, and layering audio clips.
