Made in Japan in 1999, this JM66 Jazzmaster is a rare and highly desired "matching headstock" variant of the '66 Jazzmaster wearing a non-catalog Ocean Turquoise finish. Alder body with a maple neck and 21 fret rosewood fingerboard (7.25" radius, 43mm nut width, 648mm scale length), it weighs 3.6kg's. The original Fender JM-VINTAGE pickups sound great in any of the thousand settings the Jazzmaster is capable of with it's various switches, sliders and knobs.

Well loved condition with plenty of stickers, bumps and dings as pictured. Given a full restring and service prior to listing, the neck is straight and the truss adjusts well, the frets have plenty of wear and light pitting but still play well.
