This is a second-generation model, nicknamed "Ram's Head" because the woman's face designed on the body resembles a sheep's face!

The sound of this unit is truly a wild, aggressive fuzz, and with the Sustain control at full, it unleashes an explosive, roaring sound. The Tone control rotates in the opposite direction to the third-generation model, providing a thick tone usable in any position, and offering a wide range from the sound at lower settings to the gritty, gritty sound at higher settings. While it's true that many units have low output levels, this unit has sufficient output, allowing you to enjoy a powerful, explosive sound that is unmistakably Big Muff. This unit is believed to be from the mid-1970s, during the Ram's Head era. This one has red lettering, but rare models with blue lettering also exist. This is a precious unit that still retains the explosive distortion and brilliance that every heavy rocker around the world imagines in a Ram's Head.
