If purchasing to replace a blown driver, the part should be removed and checked independently to verify if it is faulty. A bad crossover main circuit board could be the real issue.

Before purchasing a replacement part, it is very important you run as many tests possible to single out the source of your issue: Bad connections/amp/receiver/crossovers left unchecked/fixed, will keep burning out your parts.
