A 2017 Kamaka HF-3D2I has just arrived!!

The HF-3D2I was added to the regular lineup following the huge response to the KAMAKA ukulele used by Jake Shimabukuro. Many players have been waiting for the chance to own this special model.

There are three small dings around the slotted headstock and some pick scratches on the top. However, the rest of the instrument remains in clean and beautiful condition overall.

While the original nut and saddle were made of TUSQ, they have been upgraded to bone. Compared to a standard HF-3D2I, this modification provides a mellower, richer, and more resonant tone.

It is currently strung with Martin Graphite Gray Polygut strings, which pair excellently with the bone nut and saddle. It delivers a gorgeous, sweet tenor sound that is crisp and vibrant without being overly dry or harsh.

It features a slightly natural, bright body coloration typical of this production period, which beautifully highlights the vivid curly koa grain.
