This is a 2016 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, made in their Stevensville USA facility. I bought this guitar new from Concept Music in Perth in August 2018. As you would expect, the setup is extraordinary and fit/finish are impeccable. Everything is stock on this guitar and all the original case material is included.
The colour is “Trampas Green” and condition is very good. It would rate as excellent, but here is one significant ding on the top side of the body (see photo) – other than that it is just very minor wear and tear on a lightly used guitar.
I played this guitar for a long time in the shop before deciding to buy it. What sold me was the versatility – it has some very credible single coil sounds in the 2 and 4 positions, the neck is very bluesey, and the bridge pickup roars. I used it mostly for hard rock lead guitar – which for me wasn’t particularly speedy but man this is a very quick neck. A wonderful guitar to play.
I gigged with it a few times, but it has lived in its case too long and needs a change of scenery. I have gotten into building my own guitars from parts, am getting old, so it is time to thin the herd.
