This Slave Unit is built from a Hillbish GT120 chassis, an original Pennine Matamp GT120 transformer set (from Huddersfield, England), and an original cabinet made from recycled 70’s Oregon timber here at Carrion. Hand wired point to point from an original Matamp Slave blueprint, we also added a Marshall style presence knob to brighten or darken the preamp circuit of your choice. Works very well with digital modellers and pedal preamps alike, and the Sovtek EL34’s and Mullard 12ax7‘s drive everything warm and very loud.
Most outstanding feature however is the bronze faceplate we fitted, which over time will patina up incredibly to give it a very vintage, antique vibe.
