A rare/vintage Made in Japan distortion pedal from the mid-1980s (part of Guyatone’s PS series).

It’s a limited edition model known for its aggressive, compressed distortion with a tight low-end response — sometimes compared to a Boss DS-1 but with more bass weight and a unique character.

Controls:

Level — Overall output volume

Distortion — Amount of gain/distortion

Thick — Adjusts low-mid thickness/body

Fat — Boosts bass/low-end weight

The “Limited” version has this distinctive pink/black/cream color scheme and the extra “Thick” and “Fat” knobs, which give you more tonal flexibility than basic distortion pedals.

It’s an analog pedal that can go from crunchy overdrive to full-on distortion. Great for rock, punk, and heavier tones, especially if you want something with a bit more low-end authority than standard 80s Japanese distortions.
