Up for grabs is ONE pair of very clean (rarely used / rarely handled) Gibson BLACK GLOSS Finish STUDS (mounting pieces) and Black Finish ANCHORS (inserts) late 1990s - early 2000s (specifically from 2000), for PTTP BLACK GLOSS Finish Stop Bar Tail piece (Stop Bar Tailpiece NOT included).

The threads are USA / Imperial -- SAE 5/16 - 24

I don't t mind breaking the STUDS & ANCHORS Set and only sell what you need:

Since a little bit of the black finish was rubbed off of the Threaded Area of each STUD - I touch up the Threaded Areas with black marker.

Also - since a little bit of the black finish rubbed off of the Vertial Ridges of each ANCHOR - I touched up the Vertial Ridges with black marker.

Also to better show how the studs & anchors look like - some of the pictures were taken in a lower light. In these pictures - the Black Gloss Finish on the STUDS and the Black Finish on the Anchors look duller / different than they look like in person.

This color / type of finish is not a finish on Gibson hardware that Gibson sells for retail (like music in / for stores or on their website). Therefore I do not have a specific number. It's a finish that is for the hardware that Gibson (or the hardware / guitar parts company that Gibson souces their hardware parts from) makes for certain year - model guitars / basses that Gibson manufactures. In this case - a 2000 Gibson Les Paul Gothic electic guitar (guitar NOT included).

• FYI - the Gibson Gothic Series was produce from 1998 to 2003.

In case you're wondering - I do NOT have the BLACK GLOSS finish Tailpiece (Stop Bar). I sold it several years ago.

The STUDS & ANCHORS were originally on a 2000 Gibson LP Gothic - that I got new back in 2000. (NOTE: this model guitar came stock with the the BLACK GLOSS Finish tailpiece, bridge, and tuners). A few months after I got that guitar - I switches the tail piece + assembly (even the Anchors), the bridge + assembly, and the tuners to Chrome Finish parts. And for a couple of years - I carefully stored the black finish parts in baggies in a box in a closet.

I NO longer have the LP Gothic. Several years ago- I sold it with the chrome hardware it

I sold the Black Gloss Stop Bar (Tailpiece) by itself and the Black Gloss Nashville Bridge (with the mounting pieces) several years ago. There was NO imprint(s) or marking(s) on them - so I don't know where Gibson sourced these parts from.

Anyway - now I am thinning out some of my other guiatr parts. And while looking for things to sell on REVERB - I came across these STUDS / ANCHORS in a box with other guitar parts. Only the Black Gloss Finish STUDS (mounting pieces) and Black finish ANCHORS (inserts) are for sale in this listing.

STUDS: U.S. SAE 5/16 - 24

Specifications:

• Brass US tailpiece mounting studs
• Mounting studs (U.S. SAE 5/16 - 24) 
• Brushed Satin Plated Brass (zinc alloy)
• These are the same size as what comes on current Gibson® guitars
• Overall Length 1 7/16" ( 36.2mm)
• Threaded section length 7/8" (22mm)
• Fits tailpiece with ears thickness of 5/16" (8mm) and under
• Qty 2 studs

The ANCHORS (for the STUDS) are the matching pair. They fit the STUDS fine.

• The ANCHORS for the Studs are USA/Imperial: They feature coarse knurling and an SAE 5/16"-24 thread. The anchor itself has an outer diameter of 1/2" or 13mm. They are made of steel and it looks like they have have Black finish.
