Legendary Urei/Teletronix LA-3A.
This unit was recently cleaned up and tested. New pig tails with Mogami cabling and Neutrik Gold connectors were installed. New rack ears were also installed. All capacitors are still original and are measuring well, within specs.
The T4B opto cell is original and is working well.
This unit is clean and sounds great. No noises, distortion, or scratchy sounds. SN 1298. Its branded with Urei and Teletronix logo, both brands of the Universal Audio group back then.
This is a legendary opto compressor. All Electronics are still original and working well. Its good to work for many more decades with no issues.
